My Faucet is Constantly Dripping | Plumbing Help

Faucet Constantly Dripping

If your home or office faucet drips, it is time to take action. There is no sense listening to that torturous dripping noise and paying a high monthly water bill. Identifying the cause and repairing the leak will likely prove much cheaper and easier than you think. Contact our plumbing crew for a free estimate and analysis so we can put the drip to an end for good.

Fix That Leak Fast

A leaky faucet, regardless of its location, will prove annoying and costly. Reach out to us when you see or hear the first signs of a leak so we can identify the problem and perform a repair. You will sleep better, think more clearly and save money by having the leak repaired in a timely manner.

Fail to have a leak remedied and a repair that costs a couple hundred dollars can lead to a project that costs $1,000 or more. Add in the fact that a small drip can lead to a waste of more than a hundred gallons of water per month and it is easy to see why you should fix it quickly.

Common Causes for Leaks

Anything from mineral deposits along the internal parts to corrosion, defective washers, o-rings or gaskets can cause a leak.  Perhaps there is an issue with the O-ring. The O-ring is connected to the stem screw. The stem screw’s purpose is to hold the faucet handle in place. If the O-ring is faulty, worn or defective, the faucet will drip by the handle.

It is also possible the valve seat has corroded. This seat functions as a connection between the spout within the compression mechanism and the faucet. The built-up water sediments can lead to corrosion that spurs a leak by the area of the spout. Our professional plumbers can clean the valve seat and perform the necessary repairs to stop the drip.

Airco Service

We will find the source of the leak, regardless of its cause. Whether it is a worn-out washer, a loose part, a malfunctioning seal, broken plumbing or improper installation, we will pinpoint the flaw. Let our team get to work at your home or place of business so you no longer have to deal with that pesky and costly drip.
