We believe that the privacy and security of your Personal Information is very important. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains the types of Personal Information we process and how we collect, use, and disclose Personal Information. We encourage you to read this Policy carefully.

1. Personal Information We Collect

The term “Personal Information” includes any data that identifies or could reasonably be associated with an individual person, directly or indirectly. Anonymous information and information that has been de-identified, such that it cannot reasonably be linked to or used to infer information about an individual, is not Personal Information. When we process de-identified information, we maintain and use the information in de-identified form, and do not attempt to re-identify the information, except as permitted by applicable law.

We may process the following types of Personal Information through our Services:

  • Contact Information, such as your name, e-mail address, postal address, and phone number.
  • Financial Information, such as your method of payment; financial account number, debit or credit card number; receipts from your transactions; and transaction details.
  • Communications, such as support communications, transactional and informational communications, and marketing communications.
  • Device Information, such as information that your browser automatically sends when you interact with our Services, including your IP address, browser type and settings, as well as device information such as the computer, phone, or other device, and operating system you are using to interact with our Services.
  • Usage Data, which is data related to your use of the Services such as the pages you visit; your actions within the Services; the type of content you have accessed, seen, forwarded and/or clicked on; date and time stamps; log files; and diagnostic, crash, and performance logs and reports.

We do not knowingly collect, use or disclose sensitive personal information. We also do not “share” or “sell” your personal information, as those terms are defined under applicable privacy law.

2. How We Receive Personal Information

We may receive the Personal Information described above from the following sources:

  • From you, such as when you schedule service online or by phone, submit photos or videos of your equipment, sign up for a maintenance membership, contact customer support, or otherwise provide us with your personal information.
  • Automatically, from your device or browser, we may automatically collect certain Personal Information from your device, browser, and use of the Services, including through cookies and similar technologies (such as third-party pixels) and other technologies.
  • From our Service Providers, when engaged to perform or provide services on our behalf.
  • From other parties, including when another person schedules service for you, or when someone otherwise provides information about you in connection with your use of the Services.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may process the Personal Information described above for the following purposes:

  • To provide the Services, including to provide you with the features and functionality, such as scheduling and performing service appointments, providing maintenance memberships, and processing payments.
  • To communicate with you, including by responding to your inquiries and customer support requests; sending you transactional communications, such as appointment confirmations and reminders; and sending you promotional communications such as emails about offers, specials, and new services. You may opt out of promotional communications as described below, in the Rights and Choices Section.
  • Marketing and Promotions, to market, advertise, and promote our products and services, including based on your use of our services or, if you visit our websites, information about how and when you visit and your interactions with them.
  • Product Research and Development, to develop, test, and improve our products and services, and to troubleshoot products and services.
  • For Security and Safety, including providing a secure payment experience; detecting, investigating, and preventing malicious or illegal conduct; and any other actions we find necessary to protect the safety and security of you and others.
  • For legal, regulatory, and compliance purposes, including to comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process, including requests from law enforcement or government agencies, to investigate or participate in legal proceedings, and to enforce or investigate potential violations of our terms or policies.

4. Our Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose your Personal Information in the following instances:

  • To our service providers and vendors, who we engage to assist with operating the Services, including to provide payment processing services, scheduling and dispatch services, communications services, data management and storage services, and analytics services.
  • To our affiliates, in connection with the Services and our business activities for use in connection with the purposes and uses described in this Policy.
  • To government authorities or where legally required or permitted, in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; to establish or exercise our legal rights; to defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law.

6. Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your Personal Information against loss, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, please remember that no transmission of data over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

7. Retention

We retain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. To determine the appropriate retention period for Personal Information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the Personal Information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your Personal Information, the purposes for which we process your Personal Information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or other requirements.
